Task 7- audience research task
For my audience feedback I have been told that my magazine will look like a lot of the magazines, that I am copying a lot of ideas from other magazines that I have looked up at. They asked me what will be the difference between my magazine and theirs. I gave the answer with that how I will be using these magazines as an example to try make it different to what they have produced.

Task 8- pictures
These are the pictures I have picked to use for my magazine, I've chosen these images in particular because they all look 'cool' so this links to the genre I am basing my magazine on. When I did some research I saw that there was a lot of serious looking images, so I wanted to base mine a bit similar to there images but I added different shots, for example for my front cover image it is my main model wearing a white dress just above her knees and she is wearing black ankle length converses, this shows her femininity but also her seriousness by her facial expression she is giving.
This is the image I will be using for my front cover page.

Task 5- magazine newsstand task
When I look at this newsstand I realise that magazines like Elle are at eye sight levels, this is because the magaine Elle is a very world wide magazine and they sell a lot to costumers, so they put this to eye sight so this would be the first magazine that anyone will see. Elles age audience is Age 18-34:45% Age 25-49:55% and so they put it around the middle of the newsstand as it will be seen first by them. They have been placed behind each other but put into separate sleeves, this makes the customer easier to pick a magazine they would like.

Task 4- feed back and evaluation on college magazine
By my peer I have been said that I should stick to 3 colour scheme, however they like my colour scheme I have used. She has also said that I should have carried on the branding on the contents page by keeping the same font on both pages.
Tree key points that I will use for development for my music magazine:
-keep to 3 main colour scheme
-have my font the same on all pages
-images shouldn't be squashed on my contents page.

Task 3- Preliminary Task- LCS magazine- plan for college magazine
And this is my plan content page. However, I am not finished with this, but I have an idea to what is going to be on my content page.
Task 3- Preliminary Task- LCS magazine (planning looking into college magazines)
The cover page for the magazine College has the big and bold masthead of the name of the magazine. The masthead is the biggest font, it is also in the colour red. The red colour gives a more eye catchy look to the magazine. The image on the front cover is also a girl wearing a red shirt this makes the magazine automatically becomes eye catchy for the audience they have set which is for the college students and their lifestyle in American colleges. There is also some subtitles and small features that will be in this magazine, it is in a simple layout so both the subtitles and features are both on the right hand side and also the left hand side so this makes it easy to read and understand. The date and issue number is not next to the barcode, the date and issue number is under the masthead and the barcode is on the bottom right hand side of the magazine with the price next to it. The image is a medium CU image so it is from waist and up. There is also a edition so this means that the makers of this makers are shown also right under the masthead. The colour scheme for the front cover is red, blue and black with a bit of green in the background of the image. These colours are bright and catchy colours but the colours are in a formal order and there is a bit of every colour on the magazine.
The content page is simple, it has three columns with the numbers in order. There are also some images with the page they are on. In one of the image there is the front cover image which is one of the important part of the magazine. There are also some links at the bottom of the content page to give more support to the students.
